Here's a lesson learnt yesterday: Keep a distance away from drunk people.
My friends and myself were hanging out at a coffee shop for supper after our night of salsaiing at Union Square. We were seated at the edge of the place so there was no other tables behind us. I noticed a lone man sitting and drinking his beer- and looked quite drunk.
As he was directly next to drink stall i had to walk behind him. Lo and Behold, the EXACT moment i walked behind him he swung his pail of ice cubes backwards DIRECTLY towards me and the drained cold water drenched my right shoe and jeans!
i was Shocked! my first reasoning was that it was a hostile move. And actually i thought that it was Beer! yucks! but i took a few seconds to realize its water drained from the pail of ice.
anyway amazingly he relized that he spilled it on me. then he hoobled to me to the counter, and i think he offered to buy me drinks. I refused la and said its okay- he trie dto touch me and all, etc.. i walked a way from him and he followed me! -albeit drunk.. then he offered to pay for my drinks again- mumbling all the time. i kept saying its okay (cause im really OKay with it). then he was like give me a five as he put up his hands palms facing me. So i gave him "five" then he wants a left one! haha. really crazy... after a while he was convinced i was okay.. then he left.. in a cab i think..
drunks.
