friday was fun. Saturday even funner.
Wad i enjoyed abt my solo JB day trip was the super yummy Chicken Chilli FLoss bread!! YUMMY! I never tried it before in sg cause those were not offcially certified Halal here. I just love the texture! :p So i had to buy another. I quite likd the BEEF Foldover from Mac Donald's!! (they dun have that in Sg!) yummy. embarrasing was when i paid 2rm (of which 1rm is the coin) at Macs for ice cream only to realize at that point when informed by the cashier that they dun accept that anymore!! lol. i was very paiseh cause that was seriously my last change! she said its okie and smiled. I sheepishly said thank you and hurried to the money changer. WHen i returned to pay the remaining she said its okie. (she charged 1RM so "dun tell anyone"! haha :P) i was unpleasantly surprised that the MPJB swimming complex was closed!! wad pools close on Fridays!! (then again its m'sia.. fridays are muslim prayer days) haha.. so i had to make a detour with the cab.. but it was a quite a good tri nevetheless :)

Loco night was very enjoyable. I danced with people i'm not so used to again! Let me recall; Joyce and her sister was it Jean? Then there's the two girls Kelly and Jessie. Wei wei. Oh there's Daph! I still haven't dare to be the one to ask her, or the other instructors for that matter, cause i still feel im not good enuff. But we danced anyway on friday. It would have been more fun if i know more moves AND if i didnt hit her... oh no i think she almost fall when i dip or or sth.. I was somehow made to dance with Ida alone! I don't like the feeling of being watched by everyone.. so stressful. the expectation to put up a good 'show' kills my enthusiasm or should i say composure? to enjoy the dance fully :p bleah.. Nevertheless it was sure fun. :) I was all sweaty, VERY sweaty, and i hopped on to the bus to Cathay Cineleisure, to watch John Tucker Must Die with Jiyah and they all, only to realize upon reaching that i'm supposed to be at Cathay- THE CATHAY! at Dhoby Ghaut.. damn.. i could have danced a few more if its dat near.. I was quite disturbed at first but it was really my fault i din really read the sms properly. I guess first impression (of the sms) counts as i remembered it says Cathay Orchard. But the movie was quite entertaining! :P I only realized yest when Mel told me its the Desperate Housewives guy!! DUH!! no wonder he's so freaking familiar!!!

A lot of things happen on sunday. Both Deen and I was late to meet mel. So she gymed alone in school. We met for lunch catchup at Sakura Far East Plaza. With Amin, her good frd. On the way saw a very LONG queue for Cafe VIenna stretching all the way to Pacific Plaza!! wow.. of course hotel food, esp that it's halal too!, at 7.90 er set lunch is very irrestible indeed. Met Hana and her family. (woah her siblings even looked more chn than her la!! But still she's the hottest! ;) ) ANyway, then we parted cause Mel and AMin went to watch the Banquet Movie. (oh yeah LADC performance team got through the auditions for the Dance Floor!! Kudos to them pro! I can;t wait to see them on tv!!)
Then me and Deen went shopping. I got a wallet from topshop! Yay! And .. AND THE FX Creation Document Bag/briefcase that i've been eyeing around for ages!! like 3 years?!? REALLY! I;m so HAPPY that they still have the model i want in Metro Paragon cause they didnt at Taka. IM SO HAPPY!! Can't wait to bring it to work!! :p After that went to Dhoby Ghaut.. Oh this is funny. Deen and I queued to buy tix for him and Abidah- who's meeting Deen later- at The Cathay. THen at the counter the lady informed abt the seats and also that the red seats are couple seats. SO at that moment deen looked at me.. and he wanted to laugh! He even say actually im not watching with him.. etc.. I was like hahaha! (not out loud though) SO at that juncture i just moved away so that he can complete the transaction. was so hilarious.
After that we went shopping around again. I saw a book at TImes at PS and i instnatnly want it as soon as i flipped the pages. I can;t remember what the book title is but its about how to do well at work.. I just felt that the contents from the little i see randomly across resonated to much with me! I MUST BUY IT! (I postponed cause i wanted to save $2 using the TImes voucher that i got from VIVACE- eventhough i wasnt a freshman! Haha!) Oh anyway i must add this guy cashier at Times is really bad.. I noticed it when a pair of lady customers commented sth like "eh that cashier not very friendly" so curious me spied on him and YES!! Affirmative. He sounded like he's working against his every will. He didnt smile at all. He's words were too robotic and i find it rude. and he have barely any eye contact. I was rahter disgusted at such level of service... I think perhaps he really worked his ass off SMILING during S2006.. yah right.. Hmmm.. i should have caught hold of his name and like write a letter.. i swear he shouldnt work in service line..
Oh then as Deen and i was about to leave and part, we saw Mel and Amin. So he went to pick up Abidah while I walked towards the rest.
girl stranger: "Excuse me, you malay or chinese"
me: "er..?"
girl stranger: "you malay or chinese?"
Me: "why leh?"
girl stranger: "You Local or overseas? Malay or Chinese?"
Me: : "Im malay.."
girl stranger: "DO you have the habit of saving?"
Me: pause and thinks.. then realization! (WTF #$%^&*().... "oh.. its okay"
wat the heck man! i felt cheated..truth be told i taught like shes some weirdo interested in me or thinking i was like someone or sth.. and then the sudden shift in question!!!? That's unethical marketing u mktg bitch! hmm let me rephrase that you survey slut! haha. well i related to the rest and they cant help laughing too. I must say it is a novel sales technique, at least to me, not carrying a survey in you rhand and pretend that you're just an innocent stranger trying to chat. Worse still she looked like shes desperate running after u and asking all these questions.. Unethical i say. Kudos to her though for getting my attention.. (and the curses) but well i think it made the day more colorful! :p

After Dragones, i grabbed dinner than made my way to the Singapore Swimming Club for some Indian Festival.. ( will add name here later when i rem) I was apprehensive at first cause i dun feel that i fit in cause i'm not DRESSED properly!! THere me in jeans surrounded by the colorful crowd decked in their festival best!! I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT MYSELF A DECENT LOOKING KURTHA if had more knowledge of what everyone else is wearing.. i tot it was like bhangra nite since kirti said jeans are ok! LOL. But thk god some unfashionable men were donning jeans ans non traditonal attire too! YAY!. Playing with the sticks was so much fun!! It's like a massive Casino to non stop Hindi (i think) music!!! (will upload some snaphosts from the festival soon!!) I wished i would stay longer but it was the nite leading to the 1st of Ramadhan so i'll feel bad hanging out so late. PLUS cab fare will be a killer.. Mounbatten to Jurong!

Its almost an hour after we started fasting.. i;m having hiccups!!! i think i will have to sleep this off instead of drinking it down.. haha..
tommorrow, i mean later Sunday i have lotsa things i would like to do before i commence work at MWB tommorrow on Monday!!! ;P so excited!!!
