the next wave 2006 rocks!

had a blast watching nus dance ensemble earlier today. they were amazing. the highlight of the evening was definitely Dan Kwoh's Breath of Life. it is truly amazingly exhilirating. A visual spectacle. An performance of epic majesty. it is so va va voom. the costumes the music the meaning. i loved the scene where the the girls mounted on 2 poles carried by guys in a procession like grandeur; the scene where they swung on top of the pole into the air in a beseige-like precision. and the wonder of it all: the enchating goddess with her long flowy white drapes basking in the fortune flowing from the heavens.

oh my. wad an impression it left me. i LOVE Dan Kwoh!!! and the dancers were all great. they were all in character and i was truly transported to this magical oriental world of splendor. a truly Great 'Breath of Life' it was.
