rejuvenated donut
lol. YAY!. and i thought it was gone. i wanted to write abt how ironic it is that im in my final year, final term! and i having less physical endurance, i suspect mental too, to stay up late to do projects and stuff. It's actually good for my health. since i will be ge4tting more sleep! and better overall too cause it will spell greater efficiency for me as i try to squeeze my super many agendas of the day/ week, etc.
ANYWAY!
yes the donut that i thought had stopped running and dead (if ur wondering wad im talking abt refer to my very recent Donuts of the Mind post :), is after all "rejuvenated"! Yay!. i recalled that i wanted to write about the "choir" that i heard and eventually saw in campus. A group of about 20 plus people were singing, albeit nicely, in SMU, rehearsing for the yet another Grand Opening SMU has in store for the world ( i mean Singapore) this time the offical opening of Li Ka SHing School of Business*.
the sound, not only echoed in the halls and corridors of the building, it resonated in me. the song wasn't that wow, but i was still rather enchanted by the quite curious blend of altos and booming bass and baritones. Pleasant would be an understantment though. its nice, really. they were in tune. (previously the 3-4 grp singings can be rahter awful cause its so easy to hear if one is out- even for the untrained ear! i guess the power of numbers work in choir!)I stood for a while, basking in their chorus, waiting earnestly each time for the next stanza where there a wonderful union of varied voices and range... i smiled inside.
made me recalled the last time i wanted to join a choir but to chicken to be labelled a faggie. haha.. that was back then in secondary school. and also again in smu but i realized its too small a grp hence they i wouldnt be able to hide among the little great voices they had. Plus also they became accapela and the grp is minute.
this choir's different. apparently i only know like 3 people inside. so i conclude it is like a Freshie choir or sth. oh yeah the great salsa dancer/instructor that im currently super awed by, an occasionaly mesmerized, was there! its so cool; he can move so well and now he can choir! wow.
hmmm...
i think i want to attend a choir concert soon!!!!
