i Zapin-ed!

the performances for the book launch went great! I am so proud of SMU Malay Language club for having written their own book and for having it published!! Mr Zainal Abidin Rahsheed was our uest of honor. Everyone enjoyed the performances. I am so happy that i managed to do Zapin before i leave SMU. I was wowed by the Zapin performances by 2 of the dance clubs early last year during the malay week at the Esplanade.

but i must say the zapin/silat that i performed was very minimilistic. but still i did some Zapin! Kudos to Farida our chereographer and MLCC notably FIrdaus and Hassan for their vision.

the dikir barat is great too. i wished i could see if fully as an audience. :D
