oh what a day...
(haven't been blogging due to impeding deadlines at school: even Hari Raya and by very recent 'hair dyeing' adventure wasnt compelling enough to be blogged down. Life's so busy until i TODAY, i just had to write this event day despite being very occupied with schoolwork!)
i always have to learn lessons the hard way. today's salsa performance was a total disaster. in my opinion, it,s a TOTAL disaster and its very much my fault.
we had a performance for Ns Men function today - an event where NS men who are offered a place in campus come so that they can get to know more about the school and hence be convinced why our uni is the one to vie for. Well so the eventful day starts. let me make it short as it a bit painful to start and rattle too much. i lost concentration from the start: constantly looking at the other pair to see whether i'm right. concentration depleting. Then i forgot the spin after the double turn. then we performed the dreaded 2 pair casino. i banged into the other guy, almost face-on and it made me lose it like totally. so the rest of the dance i'm like following what the other couple's doing and following which resulted to even dire consequences. i prob forgotten more than i can recall. (how apt) anyway i didnt manage to neck drop my partner and the guy's shine ended early so.. etc, etc etc.
bleah bleuk puke yucks!
its really embarassing i tell u. im dissapointed with myself, ashamed that i forgot so much, pissed and upset at the whole situation. DARN!!! Arrgghghhhhhh!!! if i was a smoker or a drinker, i probably be puking my lungs out amongst more than a dozen cigarette butts in some dark alley off Armenian Street.
I also feel sorry for my partner and the other pair for letting them down.. i know i will get over this but my heart just feels heavy..
i think god is great though cause guess what? i was like down the whole day fromlike 317pm all the way til the evening when i read what was in the email... its the result of my Comms 201 Presentation! All of us got an A for our individual presentation!!!! So i hugged Deen!!!!! and jumped for joy!! Then i read the email again.... and scrolled to the bottom.. A FREAKING PLUS + for Overall Presentation!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! technically i dunno how if indv we got a then we can get a plus but i guess prof Mark can see from the slides that we put in LOTS of work!!! Phew!! all that sleepless nights was worth it! Esp the night which me and Deen stayed overnight in our new campus!! :p

well anyway, i must add that i didn't manage to meet up with my dear Yuhua Secondary School friends for the Raya this year cause im too caught up in IPR meetings... i missed them much. Can u believe i still yet to wear my super bright green kurtha/baju kurung which i bought this year!!! (cause i wore sth maroon of previous years on the first day)
At least the day concluded nicely with me and Deen at KFC enjoying yummy crispy chicken and its fats and all.. plus the Ole fish burger!
God, please help me pull through this most difficult few days of my life with the boo boo at the jamboree haunting me, the 25% comms report which i'll be mainly doing and compiling due monday and the IPR report and PRESENTATION due on wed..
