Bugis Adventure

Had an adventure at Bugis yesterday. Chilled out at a coffee joint next to the Ritz Apple Strudel in the early afternoon with Deen, Syahriel, Azrina, Noraini, Sophia and Yati and Heriza yesterday. We had some drinks but hunted for another joint after realizing that the place doesn't have any fried food.

After finding out that Es Teller was no longer around, we end up at Banquet at Raffles Hospital. Nice food. Deen left cause he got to help out his dad, Azrina left cause of her bf and Heriza left because of curfew?

So the four of us walked around to explore the rest ob Bugis. I was so trigger happy taking a lot of pictures and it felt so fun. Stopped by Malay Heritage Centre and took more pictures. We then chanced upon a mekeshift flea market at some forgettable street name but it was cool. Some interesting stuff. I thought of persuading Cheryl to sell her lovely earrings the 3rd sunday of next month! Anyway, bought a belated Silver/White brooch (supposedly Swarovski) at a steal (20 dollars)! {anyway she likes it}

Then we stopped by Starbucks at some business building. It was a nice quiet Starbucks. I think i should chill here more often and bring my date especially on weekends!! hehe. The most interesting thing we talked about was about our childhood!! Feels so nostalgic sharing our past with ya friends. Almost brought tears to my eyes. haaa..

Finally we explored Parkview Square. Its this gold and brown gothic looking building with Oscar like statues on top. All of us love the place! Everyone should take a look inside. The architecture is really unique. Superbly breath taking. And they have this rare wine cellar where the lady dressed as an angel would be hoisted up to retrieve the bottles. Way cool... I swear i want an internship or work there, lest whatever position i may get. And plus, the ambience is perfect for proposals! hehe. I totally love the place- too bad my camera was low on battery with more than a hundred shots taken earlier.

I think exploring such unfamiliar places are a great alternative to watching movies. Its so fun and lots of chance to explore not only the surroundings but ourselves!

Love,
Fuzz
