SENTOSA RETAIL INTERN
Yay. Finally i got an internship. Though it is only for a month i think its gonna be quite fun. I do hope i can learn a lot about Retailing, more than just logistics, cashiering and the normal stuff sales people do. I was actually hoping for something with more power like executing marketing plans, brainstorming of advertising and the likes but its okie. I guess even if i don't learn what i expected to, i am sure i will learn SOMETHING. I always have enjoyed meeting people so i do hope i would get to know more people who i am sure are Intersting in their own ways. Being tru to my optimistic self too, i think at least Sentosa Retail Intern doesnt sound pretty bad? It is something dear to Singapore!
I am a bit surprised that i got it actually. Well to make the story brief, 5 applied and shortlisted but only 4 could make it for the interview. 2 guys 2 girls. I knew that it will be either me or the other guy, Edmund cause girls tend to be more "marketable" salespeople. In anyways, after the group interview, i knew my chances we rather slim cause honestly , i didn't really replied to the questions as well as i wanted slash could. So i was rather indifferent at what the outcome will be. Furthermore, FURTERMORE i so dun wanna miss Raya Outing. Thought the year ONES are really fun bunch of people.
Alas, the results ala Idol, came. THe "judges" ask for Edmund to step out. And we all knew dat he didnt get it which meant i did!! It was mixed feelings for me. But it did give me a much need confidence boost after failing to get a position with Exxon Mobil which i so really wanted (esp that they are paying $1,200 a mth!!) woah rite?! damn it haha.
Okie so i got it. I'm happy. But this means i have to forego getting to know the year ones better and catching up with the other SMU malay/muslim students. :( I have yet to inform them (the year ones) dat i am not going at least not in the day. i really REALLY dun want to affect the mood ya know... Not that i am popular of course but u know when someone sorta backs out it mite kinda change the mood a bit here and there. (I am really not thinking highly of myself but just to be safe) Hmmm.. i definitely will tell Deen la. haha cause he will kind make a "fuss" out of it if i dun. haha Kiddin. THink i will tell Khai to help me tell the rest that i just got an internship and dat i am sorry that i cannot join them but hope to join them in the evening. :p

This is fun. Went with Izan, Jiyah (tk god she got half day) cause Hady sorta Bubbled?? blurp blurp. I had fun. i am sure the 2 girls too. WIth picture taking, playing hopscoth at the beach and also seeing their earnestly excited faces everytime we, i mean they spot a handsime *fish!! Hehe :p After dat We chill out shop at the Harborfront. Haha.. GIrls! i bought stuff too la. a wristband finally and a FIla Tee.

Hehe. Looking forward for this. THough i made of mistake (or maybe not) to let mine be the first house. FOrgot my mom will be just home form night shift resting. Have to rely on Aunt Yam to help fry chickens.I think im gonna buy MEE. sO exciting. My first REAL jalan rayer!!! hehe :p shhh...
AMALINA's PSLE
Really HAPPY for my lil cousin's PSLE results. SHe got 2 as and managed to go to EXPRESS stream!!! yay!! I am SO gonna make her a card. But i am sleepy now.. think i will post it to her by sunday?? Okie monday.
CHERYL'S 23 BIRTHDAY
Okie. this is bad. I got home like late. Called Grace, couldnt contact her. Damn its so terrible to be without a mobile. :( Used SIs phone to sms but to no avail. I am not sure how it will be like tommorrow. I wanted to meet at abt 6pm or later cause i have jalan rayer too. If grace can't make it i am afraid it will be postponed? Poor Sua.
